Controlled Chaos

So, I've been literally organizing, purging, and trying to come to terms with the amount of "stuff" I have. I think I have a small JoAnns/Michaels/Hobby Lobby in my room. lol. How did it get to that point, I have no idea. But it is what it is, and I have to embrace it.

New Years Resolution part II........use what I have before buying more supplies. (we'll see how long that lasts. I find it hard to resist that 40% off coupon from Michaels. I feel like its wasteful if I don't use it) :D

So, here is it. My 'play' room. Well, the 2 major walls of it. The other 2 walls are windows and then my 3 years olds stock pile of toys. And that section has NOT been organized...........yet.

So much to do, so little time.

So, here is the tour... It isn't as colorful and fabulous as my friend Tara's bright orange space, but for now, it will due. :) Next to my desk is a fab new drawer system that my friend Ronda gave me. It is wonderful and holds all my receipts (yes - in an attempt to be organized) more paper and wrapping that I use and all the onesies, burps and tees yet to be used :)

My main long wall is home to 2 new cabinets (Target). One is full of fabric and the other is all my "Playin' with Paper" supplies, cards stamps and chipboard. The smaller white 3 drawer cabinet is a repurposed change table (Thank you Dish) and holds the rest of my ribbon supply, extra stamps and craft show supplies. I had my DH hang peg board for me and found this $8 towel rack at WM that hangs over the top of my peg board - holding some ribbon and my punches. Well, the punches I could hang. Some are in smaller drawers. LOL On the side of the change table are shelves that hold TONS of magazines aka inspiration.

Against the wall is another cabinet (Ikea) which holds bills and boring office stuff inside, but on top papers, and inks and more punches. The other peg board I am using for stock, which is great because now I can see exactly what I have! :)

Then, of course, is a small table that i can move around the room and can put all my works in progress on and orders to be mailed.

Do you have an organized craft room or tips for storage you'd like to share? Please do!
