Does it have heart?

Sometimes I struggle with my ideas. There are so many fabulous things out there to create! My idea list is ever growing. My to-do list is pages long, and then there is my folder of things I've seen in magazines, books, on pinterest or out n' about that inspire me. The folder is a crazy chaos of papers, scribbled notes on napkins or sketches that i've kept over the years. Sometimes I pull it out and sort thru, looking for some inspiration (or motivation) to try something new.

There are also other times when family, friends, strangers will say "YOU SHOULD MAKE >>>>". And at times, those 'requests' aren't really..............inspiring to me. haha.. or, they are not really what I am feeling in my heart to do. Some of my family members are good for this. "You should make burlap purses! I read that you need to watch the fabric 15 times!" (no thanks) or another who will say "A woman at my workplace makes doll clothes and makes a fortune.". Again, no thanks.

Inspiration comes from a lot of places. People have ideas, wants, needs and are equally inspired. But if it doesn't have heart..............don't make it! The concept seems pretty easy. But apply it to your life and see where it goes! Philippians 4:8 says. ' whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things'.

So friends, if it is lovely, and has heart.........make it! Be it! Do it!

Happy Fall Y'all

I love fall! I love the colors, the changing of the leaves, the crisp air, burning candles...ahhh.. I've been inspired and have slowly begun adding some beauties to the shop. Pretty, simple, chic, a trio of felt flowers on a pin back. Attach to your tee, jacket, hat, scarf, purse..........anything!

Felt flowers are handcut by me, so no two are the same. I've added a little sparkle & bling to the middle.

Each tooth monster is made from soft fleece & flannel. The mouth makes a pocket for exchanging that little tooth for money or anything else your tooth fairy (ahem....monster) may bring. Can be hung on the bed post (altho, personally, I prefer the door knob...then you don't have to go in!!! No sneaking, no under the pillow mishaps and no forgetting!!!)
